~*~ Soviet Invasion ~*~ The Japanese prepared an invasion of China, launching the Second Sino-Japanese War on July 1937. The Japanese K Wantung Army turned a tiny situation into a hardcore war. Chinese forces were not able to resist the Japanese forces, because they were better armed, more organized, and were savagely violent. The rape of Nanking was one of the most terrible tragedies involved in WWII. The Japanese moved south, taking control of most eastern China and all of the major ports by the time the war started in Europe. The Kuomintang Army was destroyed, but the Japanese forces weren't able to batter it. The Japanese moved up the rivers and railroad lines, going into the interior of China. A lot of the Japanese army were devoted to the war in China.
